At the end of last year Rotero and Movetec Solutions ApS signed an agreement that appointed Rotero as exclusive representative for the Danish company’s entire product range in the Benelux. This agreement covers both standard and customer-specific lifting column solutions, as well as the linear actuators and servo technology. These products can optionally be ordered with or without a matching controller and control panel, and are used in a wide range of industries, including the healthcare and medical sector.
Rotero has meticulously assembled a product offering aimed at the supply of creative and innovative solutions, mainly for machine and device manufacturers, but also for the marine and medical sectors. The products from Danish company Movetec perfectly complement the existing assortment, for the simple reason that this company has a proven dedication to providing high-quality products. The same goes for their service and support. Moreover, Movetec is known for its frequent innovations, and this is likewise a perfect match with Rotero’s own vision.
Movetec produces and supplies lifting columns and actuators into virtually every industry. To Movetec, every order is custom-built, because in practice it’s the end user who determines the stroke length (from 1 to maximum 1200 mm), speed (up to 50 mm/sec), maximum load, and length of the lifting column. However, alongside these routine ordering parameters, the company can also develop a safe and efficient solution for customers with special requirements.
Movetec offers a truly extensive product range. The two-part lifting columns can lift a load as heavy as 10 kN, while there is also a wide choice of strokes and speeds. Apart from the lifting columns, Movetec also supplies a matching controller with optional Bluetooth communication. This feature enables the user to remotely operate the columns from a typical smartphone (Android or iPhone). The mounting kit and control panel (if applicable) are included.
The company also offers an extensive range of linear actuators and servo-actuators, industrial table frames, and accessories such as brackets and other parts for mounting. The solution can optionally include integrated sensors to detect and prevent pinching, impact, or a faulty setting.
The lifting columns are widely used across industry to create ergonomically favourable working conditions, for example to easily elevate a workbench or desk to the desired height with maximum stability. Other typical application areas include hospital beds, information panels and seating.
