Rotary encoders

Using the DIS Sensors’ angle sensors it is possible to measure an absolute angle warp from 0° to 360° without physical contact or a mechanical end wedge. Two types of housing are available: the QR30, in which the sensor and magnet are mounted separated from each other and the QR40 which involves the integration of the magnet on to the revolving axle inside the housing.

• parameters 0 – 360° (subsidiary ranges possible) 
• 5 V DC or 10 to 30 V DC
• IP67 (QR30 & QR30N) and IP66 (QR40) grade of protection
• assembly height 15 mm 

Applications

Rotary encoders are used for various applications, such as: replacement of potentiometers, (expensive) optical encoders and rotating switches, agricultural and digging machines, (mobile) waste compactors, headlight adjustment apparatus, etc.
