Approved for offshore
A perfect example of this is the EBL-W range (Electric Bolt Lock – Weatherproof). This lock is enclosed in a fully-sealed and maintenance-free anodized aluminium casing, making it suitable for use at sea or in other severe conditions.
With a protection class of IP65, this component is protected against the influence of water and dust, and it can therefore be used to lock vessel hatches and external safety doors, but it is equally suitable for bioreactor doors subjected to intensive cleaning. These shot bolts are available in both NO and NC variants.
Also for industry
The EBL-I (Industrial) range has been developed specifically for use in industrial environments. These products are typically used to lock roller shutters, grilles, gates and security doors. They are highly popular in the security shutter sector thanks to their resistance to forced entry by thieves.
