Certification of the, by DIS Sensors developed, QG-series sensors for SIL CL 2 (acc. to IEC 62061) and PLd (acc. to EN ISO 13849) is entering its final stage.
Due to law-regulations more and more applications/ machines have to meet this safety-level according to IEC/EN 61508. Therefore DIS Sensors decided a while ago to develop a new series CANopen sensors that meet the requirements of SIL CL 2/PLd. These redundant sensors for all safety-critical components are based on MEMS technology and communicate with the CANopen Safety protocol EN50325-5 (CiA304).
On short term we can deliver the following types of certified sensors:
- 1-axis 360° inclination sensor
- 2-axis ±30°/±90° inclination sensor
- 3-axis ±2g/±4g/±8g acceleration sensor
All models are available in the standard QG65 housing (reinforced plastic) or stainless steel QG76 housing.
Specifications:
- ingress protection IP67 (QG65) or up to IP68 for QG76
- temperature range up to -40° – +85°
- inclination accuracy up to 0.09° typical with a resolution of 0.05°
- acceleration accuracy up to 0.08g typical with a resolution of 0.005g
