DIS Sensors tilt switch

This month we feature a familiar 'face' from our range. The tilt switch from DIS Sensors has been part of our range for quite some time and has proven time and again in various applications where personal safety plays a main role. Tilt sensors switch at a certain angle relative to the horizon. Gravity, just as with inclinometers, serves as reference and the switch can be placed everywhere. The sensors of DIS Sensors are based on MEMS technology and smart algorithms in micro-controllers. This allows the development of 1 or 2 axis switches, with any desired switch angle. 

Features of the DIS Sensors tilt switch:

• measurement range 1 axis: up to 179°
• measurement range 2 axis: ±1 to ±80°
• voltage: 5 V dc or 10 - 30 V dc
• output: single or double NPN/PNP
• plastic housing
• protection class: IP67, IP68 or IP69K
• programable: switch angle, on/off delays, filtering

Functions:

Replacement for mercury switches, tilt protection, tilt protection

Applications:

Scissor lifts, agricultural equipment, forklifts, tail gates of trucks
