Halstrup-Walcher PSD direct drives

Halstrup-Walcher has recently enhanced its range of positioning systems with the new PSD direct drive series. These compact drive systems are specifically designed for rapid, accurate and reliable format changeover in production machines. The PSD series features the choice of incremental or absolute encoder, as well as extensive communication options for all common process automation bus systems.

• Compact design
• Standard CANbus and IO-Link protocol
• Optional bus systems: Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU, Sercos, EtherCAT, Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Powerlink
• Speeds of up to 1500 min^-1
• Optional hollow shaft
• Optional gearbox for torques of up to 10 Nm
• Nema 17 or 23 stepper motor
• Power feedback circuit to protect electronics from generator effect
• Standard incremental measurementsystem; optional absolute system
