The stepper motor has become an indispensable prime mover for precision rotary positioning in digitally-controlled machinery. However, the basic principle of the stepper motor – the ability to stop, start and move to a specific angle at high speed – is also a source of vibration, resonance, and therefore noise.

CVK series from Oriental Motor delivers higher performance with less vibration

Oriental Motor has now achieved a breakthrough in stepper motor performance, while at the same time significantly reducing vibration through advanced microstepping control and suppression measures. The torque across the speed range has been boosted by up to 85%, while the microstepping stop position accuracy is just 0.072°±0.02° (conventional accuracy is 0.225°±0.06°).
