Soft slings are super-strong HMPE lifting straps used for the vertical transport of various, but mainly heavy components. Because the straps have very little stretch, high demands are placed on the accuracy of the production process. That is why a Dimetix laser sensor from Rotero is used in Enduro Softslings’ production machine. This sensor can measure distances of up to 150 metres with an accuracy of 1 mm.
