Webinar ‘Drive technologies – motor selection’

03-05-2021
11 - 13 min

Drive motors come in all shapes and sizes and with a wide range of specifications. A lot of technical terms are used, which can make it difficult to keep track of everything.

Do you need a synchronous or asynchronous motor? Is it an AC or DC motor? Can a servo motor or stepper motor be used? Do you need an additional reduction? And is it controlled by a frequency converter? In short, there are many specific issues to consider when choosing your drive.

Engi talents, together with our product specialist Koen Tielemans, is organising the webinar “Drive technology – choosing motors”.

In addition to discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of motors, we will also look at their construction.

You will see that the market has undergone a real evolution and that assumptions made 30 years ago are no longer applicable.

Would you also like to see preconceptions refuted on the basis of practical examples?

Then register today for the webinar on 6 May from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

There will be time for questions afterwards.

You can register via this website.
