Oriental Motor introduces two new brushless motors for applications in food, packaging and conveyor belt systems. The BL 750 W stands out for its high power and energy efficiency, while the BL Stainless Steel 200 W features an exceptionally high protection class. Both motors fit seamlessly into Oriental Motor’s extensive portfolio of powerful brushless motors, distributed by Rotero in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The new BL 750 W and BL RVS 200 W have been specifically developed for use in the food industry, packaging lines and internal transport systems. Both motors deliver reliable, energy-efficient performance and can be flexibly integrated into environments where continuity is essential.
Compact, lightweight and energy-efficient (BL 750 W)
The BL 750 W impresses with its high wattage and excellent energy efficiency (IE5). This motor consumes significantly less energy and has much lower CO₂ emissions than comparable motors! Active cooling with a fan is not necessary, as the motor generates hardly any heat during use.
Weighing only 3.8 kg, the BL 750 W is lighter than three-phase AC motors with a similar power rating. Thanks to its compact length of 130 mm, the motor is well suited for use in installations with limited installation space. In addition, the motor is compatible with frequency converters, making integration into existing systems easy.
Fully stainless steel for hygiene-critical applications (BL Stainless Steel 200 W)
The BL Stainless Steel 200 W is made entirely of stainless steel and has the highest protection class within Oriental Motor’s brushless range (IP67/IP69K). The motor is resistant to high-pressure cleaning and steam/hot water cleaning, making it ideal for hygiene-critical applications in meat, fish or vegetable processing machines that are cleaned daily (or more often).
In addition, the motor is available with various gear ratios (10, 15, 20, 30, 50). This gives engineers the freedom to precisely tailor drive systems to process requirements.
Alternatives for less critical environments
For applications where a stainless steel housing is not required, variants with 200 W, 300 W and 400 W are also available within the BL family. These versions have an IP67 protection class and are protected against dust and temporary immersion in water. Thanks to their smooth and maintenance-friendly design, these motors are suitable for areas that do not require frequent high-pressure cleaning for food safety reasons, but do require a robust and easy-to-clean construction, such as conveyor belts and packaging machines.
