Control panels often opt for roof fan solutions when installing fans in the walls is difficult (due to limited installation depth, for example) and to prevent the panel from overheating. This is often in combination with small, difficult-to-access spaces where the panels are located.
Fandis has been developing and manufacturing solutions for climate control issues in panel construction for over 30 years. In addition to a complete range of AC fans, they now also offer a series of solutions with 24 V DC and 48 V DC connection voltage. Available in protection classes IP24, IP44 and IP54.
The main advantages of DC compared to conventional AC fans are:
- Safety: low voltage
- Energy consumption: compared to traditional AC solutions, consumption is approximately 50% lower with the same air output and panel cooling.
- Control: the fans have a tacho output for optimum control of the desired air volume.
