JVL has been manufacturing servo motors with built-in drivers/controllers for several decades. You may have seen this series of MAC motors before. You may recognise the image of the open MAC800, as it has been used in various trade journals for a very long time.

The Mac motor series has been greatly expanded and now includes models ranging from 50W to 4.5kW. The latest addition to this series is a 1200W version.
All Mac motors are characterised by their modular design, among other things. Basically, it is a motor with built-in power electronics. Expansion modules with more or less intelligent controllers can be mounted on it. Expansion modules are available in a wide range of variants. For example, many bus modules are available, such as Ethernet (EtherCAT, Sercos, PROFINET, etc.). Programmable controller modules are also available, allowing the motor to operate independently and handle up to 8 I/O.
The highly user-friendly MacTalk programming software is another major advantage of this system. It allows users to get the servo motor up and running in no time at all. Generally speaking, a few minutes of instruction over the phone is all it takes to familiarise users with this software.
