The SBS series includes advanced linear actuators with integrated stepper motors and ball screws, available in six sizes from Nema 6-23. The actuators deliver a maximum force of up to 1,600 N and offer resolutions from 0.005 mm to 0.1 mm per step. The stepper motors are available with a step angle of 1.8° and 0.9° for excellent precision.
Options include encoders, brakes and adapted end machining of the ball screws. The stepper motors can be equipped with a plug connection of the customer’s choice or an IP54 seal with M12 connector. The design uses high-quality materials such as hardened steel (HRC 58-62) with anti-rust treatment to ensure a long service life.
The actuators are suitable for demanding applications in automation, medical equipment and robotics. Regular maintenance, such as lubrication and checking for backlash, is recommended for optimal operation.
