Product description

For switching tasks in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, we offer the pressure switches from STW Wiedemann, a modular system that includes the right solution for every requirement. The pressure connection, pressure range, electrical connection and switch type can be combined in almost any way.

The pressure switches are E-marked (E1) and developed for use under harsh environmental conditions. The mechanical and electronic characteristics are specially designed for this purpose. In addition to the numerous combination possibilities, we also offer the option of manufacturing and supplying OEM versions.

Silicon-based measuring cells are used for low pressure ranges up to 7 bars. These cells can be used at media temperatures from −40 °C to +85 °C. For high pressure ranges from 10 bars to 2000 bars, which are often required for use in mobile machines, welded stainless steel measuring cells are used, which are generally suitable for media temperatures from −40 °C to +150 °C.

Depending on the type of measuring cell and the material that comes into contact with the medium, the pressure switches are resistant to corrosive or non-corrosive gases and liquids.

On request, versions in 316L are also available for measuring the pressure of hydrogen.
