Product description
With the pressure sensor family from STW Wiedemann, we offer a modular system for measuring pneumatic and hydraulic pressures and can provide the right solution for every requirement. The pressure connection, pressure range, electrical connection and output signal can be combined in almost any permutation. All pressure sensors are E-marked (E1) and developed for harsh environmental conditions and the extremely high demands typical in hydraulics or in the braking systems of mobile machines. In addition to the numerous combination possibilities, we also offer the option of manufacturing and supplying OEM solutions.
For low pressure ranges, silicon-based measuring cells are used. For high pressures, often required in mobile machine applications, welded stainless steel measuring cells are used. Depending on the type of measuring cell and the material in contact with the medium, the pressure sensors are resistant to corrosive or non-corrosive gases and liquids. On request, versions in 316L grade stainless steel for use with hydrogen, CNG, and LPG are also available.
In addition to the standard M01 version, the pressure sensors are also available in the F02 Safety variant for safety-critical applications requiring an appropriate Performance Level.
The pressure sensor variant SMX.pt-ha1 has been specially developed for applications involving hydrogen and in ATEX-protected environments.
The pressure sensor SMX.pt-ea1 has been developed for high-quality measurements under high temperature conditions, such as cylinder pressure applications in combustion engines.
